10. November 2009 - Yesterday, ICONS-ICfo Organization and Network of Students, elected the new officers for the year 2009-2010 in the general meeting.
The newly elected officers are:

Vice-President: Jan Gieseler
Secretary: Omar Olarte
Treasurer: Rafael Betancur
27. October 2009 - ICONS participated the first 'Solar Mini Car Competion' at FiO(Frontier in Optics) conference in San Jose, California, USA, October 11-15. Link to IFISC Student Chapter
10. June 2009 - ICONS popular local outreach activities for high school students, 'El Día de la Luz (The day of light)' will be presented at the conference, Education and Training in Optics and Photonics (ETOP 2009), in UK.
01. June 2009 - Two ICONS will attend IONS North America conference in Maryland, USA, September 25-26.
13. May 2009 - Six members of ICONS will go to Glasgow, UK to participate in the upcoming IONS-6 conference, in July 9-11.
23. April 2009 - Currently, members of ICFO-SPIE student chapter and ICFO-OSA student chapter conducted the 2-hour workshop to teach photonics to local school students from Escaan International School, and IES Puig de la Creu.

20. April 2009 - ICFO-SPIE student chapter was awarded for the SPIE Education Outreach Grants. This grants will enhance our local outreach activities to teach basics of optics to high school students.
23. February 2009 - IONS(International OSA Network of Students)-5 conference ended in a great success with over 50 participants from OSA student chapter all over the world.
01. November 2008 - At this year's OSA general meeting in Rochester (USA) will be held, Armand Niederberger as president of the last season will be there showing ICONS web site and activities held during the last year.
13. October 2008 - New Officers has been elected for the next year: Osamu Takayama (President), Giorgio Volpe (Vicepresident), Lars Neumann (Secretary), Sandro Perrone (Treasure) will driving ICONS projects.
01. September 2008 - In order to access to broader community of photonics, we established the ICFO-SPIE student chapter. Together with ICFO-OSA student chapter, ICFO-SPIE student chapter plays vital part of ICONS student chapter.
26. May 2008 - ICFO-OSA SC is organizing the ¡¡INTERNATIONAL FOOD FESTIVAL!! on Friday, 13th June, 2008.
06. March 2007 - IOSC's local outreach programme for high-schools, El Día de la Luz will be presented at the conference for Education and Training in Optics and Photonics (ETOP 2007) in Ottawa, Canada.
